PANCID-40 contains Pantoprazole Sodium, a proton pump inhibitor that reduces excess stomach acid production. It is used to treat acid-related disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, and Zollinger–Ellison syndrome. The gastro-resistant coating ensures the drug reaches the intestine before dissolving, preventing degradation by stomach acid.
