ZALCLAV-CV

Zalclav-CV is a combination antibiotic containing amoxycillin, a broad-spectrum penicillin, and clavulanic acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. This formulation is used for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, ENT infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and gastrointestinal infections. Clavulanic acid protects amoxycillin from enzymatic degradation, thereby extending its antibacterial activity against resistant organisms.
